Pogo Grit is Samuel Taylor's debut instrumental single that mixes and melds an eclectic combination of musical styles including prog rock, jazz fusion, bebop and art music using the microtonal tuning of 22EDO (Equal Divisions of the Octave). This means the instruments have 22 equally divided notes per octave, as opposed to the 12 notes featured in standard western tuning. This concoction of daring harmonies, melodies and rhythms transports the listener into an alternative universe defined by its own unique algorithm.
